Chamber statement

Rights-led counsel for everyday disputes and life-stage decisions.

RightLife Legal Pte. Ltd. operates from The Chamber at Straits Trading Building — a practice focused on what you are entitled to, what you owe, and what a reasonable outcome looks like under the statutes and precedents that govern your situation. We work with individuals and small businesses across employment, housing, consumer contracts, family arrangements, small claims, and estate planning. Our role is to read your documents, identify the operative rights, and advise on proportionate next steps — whether that means a letter, a mediated settlement, tribunal proceedings, or simply understanding your position before you decide.

We do not sell certainty we cannot deliver. We do not chase volume at the expense of clarity. Every matter receives a named lawyer, a written scope, and fees explained before work begins.

Clause rail

Four stages from first contact to resolution.

I

Intake and conflict check

You describe the matter, share available documents, and we confirm we can act without conflict. If the issue sits outside our scope, we say so and suggest alternatives rather than accepting work we cannot perform well.

II

Rights mapping

We identify the statutes, contract clauses, and tribunal rules that govern your position. You receive a plain-language summary of what rights apply, what deadlines matter, and where evidence gaps exist.

III

Strategy and instruction

Together we agree on a proportionate path — correspondence, negotiation, mediation, or formal proceedings. Fees and milestones are set in writing before substantive work proceeds.

IV

Execution and closure

We carry out the agreed steps, keep you informed at each milestone, and close with a written record of outcomes, remaining risks, and any follow-up you may need.

Method

How we work inside The Chamber.

Document-first

Contracts, notices, and correspondence are read before advice is given. Assumptions are flagged, not buried.

Rights, not rhetoric

We cite the operative law — Employment Act provisions, tenancy statutes, PDPA obligations — not vague reassurance.

Proportionate spend

Fees match the stakes. A demand letter and a full trial preparation are priced differently and scoped accordingly.

Written record

Key advice and instructions are confirmed in writing so you can refer back and we can demonstrate what was agreed.

Capabilities

Six practice areas. One consistent standard.

Employment

Wrongful termination, restraint clauses, salary disputes, and MOM-facing correspondence.

Tenancy

Lease reviews, deposit disputes, early termination, and landlord–tenant tribunal preparation.

Consumer

Defective goods, misleading sales, refund refusals, and CASE-compatible complaint drafting.

Family

Divorce-related property division, maintenance, and parenting arrangements within our scope.

Small claims

Claims Tribunal preparation, evidence bundles, and hearing representation where permitted.

Wills

Simple wills, executor guidance, and probate-adjacent advice for straightforward estates.

  • We represent clients before the Small Claims Tribunals, Employment Claims Tribunals, and selected Magistrate's Court matters. Complex High Court litigation is referred to specialist counsel within our network.
